All roles are open to audition. We are seeking a large ensemble cast (ages 14 and up) for this production.  There are 3 principal roles with 14 supporting roles plus ensemble. Auditioners seeking principal or supporting roles must be at least 18 years old.

All auditioners must bring sheet music with them and be prepared to sing up to 32 bars but no more than one minute, of a fully memorized Broadway-style musical selection that showcases their vocal range. Musical selections do not need to be from THE LITTLE MERMAID.

Auditioners should mark their selection with a highlighter. An accompanist will be provided. A cappella singing, instrumentals on CD, Tape, iPod, MP3 Player or digital recorder will not be allowed.

Auditioners may be asked to learn a short dance/movement combination taught at the audition and may also be asked to read from the script.  Some roles will require “flying” – please be sure to indicate on the audition form if you are afraid of heights.

Please note: Audition appointment spaces are limited and filled on a first-come, first served basis.

Rehearsals will be held three times per week on Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday evenings (7:00-10:00pm) with two Wednesday evening rehearsals on May 16th and May 30th.  Some performers will be called for “flying rehearsals” in addition to regular rehearsals.  Those dates will tentatively be July 18th, July 20th and July 21st.  Rehearsals will begin on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.

Tech week rehearsals will be Sunday through Thursday, July 22-26, 2018.  We do ask that Friday, July 27, 2018 be held in case an additional tech week rehearsal is needed.  The pickup rehearsal will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018.

Please have all conflicts for the rehearsal period available, and please note on Audition Form.  If you are unable to make the mandatory tech week rehearsals and/or pickup rehearsal, we will be unable to cast you in this production.

The Warner Stage Company is a regional community theatre company and does not offer compensation or housing for performers.
