Richard Damaso
Nicely-Nicely Johnson
Richard has enjoyed a wonderful run of performances these past couple of years here in Connecticut and New York. Recent roles have included Ali Hakim in Oklahoma! and Spider in Jekyll & Hyde at the Thomaston Opera House, Songs for a New World and the Balladeer and Lee Harvey Oswald in Assassins at Brookfield Theater for the Arts, the Engineer understudy and Thuy in Miss Saigon at Middletown Paramount Theater and Officer Barrel in Urinetown at Theatreworks. He is a proud member of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology class of 1995 where he earned bachelors degrees in both mechanical engineering and music. Welcome to the Warner Richard!!

Joe McCann
Benny Southstreet
Joe was last seen on the Warner stage as the Baker and Corkscrew in Beauty and the Beast. He had a featured role as part of the quartet in The Music Man, the Barber in Man of LaMancha and was in the ensemble for Cinderella. Joe has also worked as Sound Engineer for several shows. Joe has 3 children and resides in Torrington with wife, Holly, and step-daughter, Lindsay. He works as an electrician for Trobel Electric. |

Tony Leone
Rusty Charlie
This is Tony’s debut on the Warner Stage. Tony, a Southington resident, currently works at ESPN as a Production Assistant for Broadcast Promotions. In addition, Tony is also a Drill Instructor for the Southington High School Marching Band. His more memorable roles include Poole in Jekyll & Hyde at the Thomaston Opera House and Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar with United Arts. “Special thanks to my family and friends for their support; especially Mama and Papa Leone. I dedicate this performance to my late Grandma Leone who passed away only a few weeks ago. ‘Do it, Do it, Get it to it!’” |

Marcia Maslo
Sarah Brown
Marcia is thrilled to be back on the Warner stage. Audiences may remember her as Cinderella in Cinderella and as Emma Carew in Jekyll & Hyde. Marcia’s regional stage credits, in addition to several educational videos, include lead and feature roles in professional theatres throughout CT, NY and MA. Marcia’s favorite roles include Philia in Forum, Minnie Faye in Hello Dolly!, Nellie Forbush in South Pacific, Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes, Roz Hay in Moon Over Buffalo and Alice Sycamore in You Can’t Take it With You. Marcia is a 1997 graduate of the University of Connecticut with a BA in Marketing and Communications. When not performing, directing, or choreographing, Marcia can be found as the town of Trumbull’s Youth Director, offering enrichment programs to the community’s youth. |

Arvide Abernathy
John has performed on stage in a number of productions and is certainly no stranger to the Warner stage having performed in 42nd Street, Jekyll & Hyde, South Pacific, West Side Story and Christmas My Way, to name a few. John is pleased to have the opportunity to reprise the roll of Arvide which he portrayed here at the Warner in 1995. “I love this role. You can do it over and over and never get too old to play the part. All the work is so enjoyable when you're working with a cast as talented as this one. They just bring out the best in you. Break a Leg all. This one's for you Jimmy Fritch!!” |

Patrick Hearn
Harry the Horse
Patrick played Tin Man in the 1994, 1999, and 2003 Warner Productions of The Wizard of Oz. Other favorite roles are Welch in Damn Yankees, Sir Archibald Proops in Jekyll & Hyde, Victor Velasco in Barefoot in the Park, Perkins in Amorous Ambassador at Southington Community Theatre, Georges in LaCage aux Folles at Cheshire Community Theatre, Petrucchio in Kiss Me Kate, Sir Harry in Once Upon a Mattress and For Better or Worse playing the part of Luigi the Squeege. Patrick is also a member of Aspen Dream Productions.

Jeff Lindstrom
Lt. Brannigan
Residential Designer and owner of Berkshire Home & Building Design, LLC in Goshen, and married to Cheri, who herself has been in many shows at the Warner Theatre and Goshen Players; they have a daughter, Kember, who also has been involved with the Warner and Goshen players (she is currently at Mitchell College, but spends her summers employed by The Warner School of Education as an assistant to the
director). Having played many supporting roles at the Warner Theatre and Goshen Players for the past ten years, Jeff recently played the part of Jacob in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Other favorite roles include Diction teacher in Singin’ In the Rain, Chief Sitting Bull in Annie Get Your Gun, and Charles Widener in Titanic- The Musical, all at the Warner. “I am happy to return to the Warner after a 15 month hiatus and to share the stage with my wife, Cheri and the fun group of talented individuals. Love ya K…study hard!” |

Gene Banko
Nathan Detroit
We give Gene a warm welcome to the Warner Theatre. Gene has relocated to Connecticut from Allentown, PA and is currently the manager of JC Penney in Torrington. Gene is making his debut on the Warner stage but is no stranger to the theatre. He has over 25 years of performing experience in musical theater having appeared as Riff in West Side Story, and Side By Side By Sondheim both at the Civic Theatre. Additional roles were Alvin in I Love My Wife at Guthsville Playhouse and Lucky in Dames At Sea at Pennsylvania Playhouse. He hopes his affiliation with the Warner Theatre will be long and fruitful. “Thank you Julian for taking a chance with the new guy.” |

Roxie Quinn
Miss Adelaide
Roxanne has been a member of the stage company since 2001, and was even married on the Warner stage in 2002 to fellow stage company member, John Quinn. Her Warner credits include Kathy in Singin' in the Rain, Marian in The Music Man, Lily St. Regis in Annie, Tuptim in The King & I and most recently Roxie was seen in the Warner’s summer production of Seussical- The Musical as Gertrude. She has been singing and dancing since the age of three, and is currently the choreographer for the Miss Jr. Teen America and the Miss Teen Connecticut pageants. Roxanne resides in Torrington with her husband John and his son Dan. “Thank you Julian, Neil and Randy for believing in me and giving me this wonderful opportunity. To Nessy, ‘break a leg’ in your debut performance! All my love to John and Dan the Man. Enjoy the show!” |

David Michaels
Sky Masterson
David is no stranger to the stage having performed at the Thomaston Opera House, Seven Angels Theatre and Cheshire Community Theatre. He is thrilled to be making his debut on the Warner stage as Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls. Favorite past roles include Mickey in Blood Brothers at Cheshire Community Theatre, Teen Angel and Roger, in Grease at Thomaston Opera House, Jerry in The Zoo Story also at Thomaston Opera House, and Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls at Seven Angels Theatre. Besides acting and singing, David lives in Waterbury and is a bartender at Anthony Jacks in Southington. When not on stage or working, he enjoys tennis, weightlifting, ping pong, baseball and bowling. We all welcome David to our beautiful theatre!

Karen Bentley
General Matilda B. Cartwright
Karen lives in Torrington with her husband Paul, a writer, and teaches Kindergarten at Torringford School. Her sons Ian and Kyle, both involved in the arts, introduced Karen to the joy of theatre several years ago. Karen’s favorite role is that of the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz. She has graced the Warner stage in several Warner productions as various characters and ensemble. “Even after being in so many shows, I still marvel at the amount of talent and commitment I see at the Warner Theatre. I am honored to be a small part of it!” |

Bob Tansley
Big Jule
Robert lives in Waterbury with his wife Diane and is the Director of Campus Safety at Post University in Waterbury, Connecticut. He is the father of son Scott and daughter Brooke. Robert enjoys directing children’s theatre and the excitement of the children’s debut on stage. He is the founder of the Post Theatrical Players (2001), current director and founder of Blessed Sacrament Childrens Theatre (2001) and The Saint Mary School Children’s Theatre (1992-2000). He has directed over 25 shows the last 14 years with children from grade school through college. Robert has several favorite roles, including the reprise of this current role of Big Jule. “I would like to dedicate this performance of Big Jule to my son Scott… ‘Maybe this time I will get all the lines’...” |
